The company has a strong believe that there are several health related problems in the tropics which would best be solved only by the local Scientists. This until recently has not been possible for several reason but particularly lack of Scientist in the field.

Since malaria is a primary cause for morbidity in most sub-Saharan African countries, the company’s initial focus is the production of drugs that would address both the preventive and curative aspects of this disease including;

• Repelling the mosquitoes from biting the human target.
• Elimination of the mosquitoes from living and sleeping areas.
• Treatment of the disease - malaria and associated symptoms.

Equatorial also focuses on agricultural problems of crops and animals that are of relevance to the tropical World – Palm, Cocoa, Coffee Poultry and Livestock.
Current researches in our laboratories are directed toward the development of natural product derived treatment of typhoid fever which is so endemic in Ghana and the tropical world. Part of our research efforts also directed towards finding herbal drugs for the treatment of prostrate cancer. Equatorial intends to be a market leader in Ghana and the West African Sub-region We are currently seeking marketing opportunities, in neighboring countries, and countries in the tropical world.
